I'd never seen one of these with the shift pattern on it. Is this an original Hurst knob? Second time it's been listed. No bids. I know I'm not paying a hundred bucks for a shift knob. It's cool but more like thirty bucks cool.

That's the first one I can recall seeing. The seller claims it fits the dual gate, and the pattern fits, but was it original equipment, and on what? Dual gates had multiple applications, so maybe this was for the aftermarket from Hurst. You can contact the seller and ask for information.

Yeah I sent him an e mail. He is selling about 5 knobs they all look the same but are listed for different applications. Dual gate, auto stick, and his and hers. He doesn't say it is a Hurst part just that it fits Hurst shifters.
From Plano huh? North Texas people are taking this place over. 2 from Dallas, 1 from Plano and 1 from McKinney. Got any pictures of your car?

I suspect these were for the aftermarket Dualgate shifter?

93 Cavalier Z24 Clone ... Ha:p
And my buddy gave me a hard time when I put a Z/24 fresh air hood and air box on a Pontiac Sunturd convertible I was selling. I thought it was trick AND it was the right color.

Yeah, I'm from North Texas. Brad442 sent me an email earlier today with a link to the site. Yes, I have some pictures of my car. I'll try and attach one. I think this will work. Eventually I'll have to figure out how to put it with my username.

I believe the knob is to a Hurst Auto/Stick shifter from the mid 70s, it looked like a 4 speed shifter and had the auto pattern on the ball.

That's really cool! Doesn't the Dual Gate pattern shift over from Nuetral to Manual shift instead of all the way down to low, then over to manual?

I just got a reply from the seller, he says it is an auto stick 1 shifter knob only available with the shifter in the late 60's and early 70's and never sold seperately by Hurst. 77442 is the winner with the correct reply.
And yeah Brad I don't think the pattern is exact for a dual gate.
I still like it but not a hundred bucks worth.
