The chrome mirrors were present on the Y-76 cars, along with gray SSII rims. It would have been based on the Cutlass S, but have the smaller opera window. I would say your car would be a Y-76 based on the pics. Type Y-76 into the search feature and you can see some other threads with info on them. Zola has a good link on his site also from the info he's acquired over the years.

Don, Looks like you have a Y76. Bert gave you some good info. and your car is based on the Cutlass S body (G37 on the cowl tag or body plate). Y76's also had Cutlass Supreme style taillights. I had a 75 Y76 that I parted out years ago. It was a good running car but unfortunately met a Dodge Ram pickup truck that ran a red light. The Cutlass came out on the losing end of that deal. :(

so ,,is it something that has value like a 442 or a "see them everywhere" parts donor type of car ?
this car could be restored.
white interior is brittle and looks like "joe weekend body man" got a gallon of bondo to patch the 1/4 panels.
floor boards look to be pretty good.
has a 350 w/auto on floor.

Not as desirable as a 442, but more unique with a little more appeal collector car wise than an ordinary Cutlass S. Depending on year, roughly 10% to 20% of Cutlass S cars were Y76 regional cars. If the car is really rough, I wouldn't lose any sleep in parting it out. Sounds like the rear quarters are bad with that much bondo in them.
The Y76 I had could have been fixed (it didn't have much rust at all) but it would have taken a bunch of front end sheetmetal, a header, and a radiator support. Funny thing was the front bumper barely got a scratch. The truck went right into the headlights and grilles.
