So I went sunday and looked at a car my brother in laws dad has, he said it is a Mustang so I went over there and it is a 73 mustang fastback 302 auto with air car. The only problem well the biggest problem is that it had a half vinyl top and it had rust under it ( we know about that) so he cut that part of the top off and thought he could make one. Didn't turn out to well, so he decided to sell it. I told him I would let him know in July. So he called me today and said if I wanted it he would take $500 bucks and come get it out of his way and pay him later. So I found a top for $300 today. So long story short I own a 73 Mustang fastback that my daughter and I will build, the 68 convert. needs more work than she wants to do and is giving it to her brother. She wants one she can work on and drive. Just passing on my good deal news.

Update on the stang. Tuned it up and took it out on the road wound it tight and got 2cd gear rubber, so the trans has been built at some point. Just wish I could have talked her into an Olds. But she is very excited about it so we will have fun working on it togather.

Wifey wants a 71-74 Mustang Convertible. Its a style that grows on you.

How do you like that "Oven" for a back window? whewww... I remember a buddy of mine had a 73 with the fastback roof ... wow... all black car in and out.. my god.. talk about sweating away your weight durring the summer in that car!!

How can you have a window that big and still cant see out of it? After paint some tint is in the future I know. She wants the spoiler on the I dont know about the louvers. Its great to spend the time building it with her though. I had two friends in high school they both had blue and black 73s one with louvers and factory slots and the other with magnum 500s.
