Hi folks, so here's the formal intro. I'm 44 and live in McKinney, TX, a suburb of Dallas--have been in TX since '94. I just bought my first Colonnade Cutlass after looking for the right one off and on over the last 5 years or so--had an '87 442 for a spell.
As the handle suggests I stick to GM cars (you can see what's currently in the stable by following the Cardomain link below) and my daily driver is an '07 Avalanche. I grew up in metro Detroit (Livonia), have had gasoline in my veins for as long as I can remember and paid my way through college working the midnight shift at GM's Milford (MI) Proving Ground as a test driver--sounds much more glamorous than what it was, but those two years in the mid 80's were a blast out there.
I pay the bills by managing a consulting Practice for a software company, have three college educations that my wife and I get to look forward to paying :) and I'll try to give as much as I ask for from fellow members of this forum. Thanks for having me, glad that I found the sight and I look forward to helping it grow.

Weclome aboard Jay. Myself and Texxas89 (David Morris) are also Texans, just a few miles from you in Lake Highlands, in Dallas. Maybe a few of us Texas boys can get together one evening and talk Oldsmobiles since we are so close.

Hey Jay, some Ebay scammer is using your car's pictures for his ad. I'd post the link, it doesn't show an Ebay page BUT it looks like an Ebay page. don't want anyone to get a virus. It is under Cutlass and they reversed the picture.

Just saw this post (thanks for letting me know) -- looks like eBay pulled it down or someone got taken! Funny, cause I found the car on eBay last week and worked a deal off-line to buy it. Just got it delivered today--better than my NCRS buddy up in Cleveland who looked at it told me it was. Looking forward to having the freaking monsoon rains in north Texas end so that I can take it out for a meaningful drive.
Looks like I'll be updating Cardomain with one shot per car!

I'm mad about your other thread. You guys took the life of an American cow and it wasn't Rosie O'Donnell.
At least you got something right, Texans should be compared to Canadians because we should be our own country and then not let Dubya Bush back in:p when he's done messing up the rest of the U.S.

If you want independence, I suggest holding a cow hostage. I mean, we lost a pig but we're still independent. :D
