Anybody looking for a project on the West Coast? I've got a 1977 442 that's missing the engine and trannie, interior is mix of two colors, bucket seat but not swivel buckets. Minor rust just starting in a couple places. The price is $750. I've also got a 1974 Cutlass with a 442 hood and emblems but it's the wrong body style, It has the flatter backwindshield not the fastback style. It's complete with a 350/350 but has been sitting several years, I don't think it has any rust issues, $850. Then I have a 1975 Cutlass that is complete 350/350 but has been sitting for several years that I would consider a parts car for one of the other two. The 1975 has some rust and body damage, swivel buckets that need recovered, console, floor shift tilt column that wobbles side to side. Titles for the 1977 and 1974, no title on the 1975. I have a set of new black seat covers for the swivel buckets in the 1975. I would be willing to sell all or parts of the 1975 with one of the other two cars, but would like to sell both the 77 and 74 before pulling much off the 1975. I'd just like to give the buyer of the other cars first chance at it. In addition I have lots of engines and trannies, 330,350,403,425,455's so if someone wanted a drivetrain with the 1977 I could provide that. Cars are in Medford Oregon at a storage yard. They're squeezed in pretty tight so I have some pictures but not good views from all angles. Pictures are on my photobucket site but you'll need to scroll down maybe 3/4 the way to view them. If your interested after viewing the photos contact me. A lot of potential, but I've collected more projects than I have the time or money to do! :o John

I'd like to keep the car together for now and sell it as a project rather than parts car. John

Cool, I understand but keep me in mind if you decide to part it out.

I have not seen a set of 77-442 grills for sale in years. I saw a set sell for around 5 bills on ebay a few years ago and could not believe it.

Wow, that makes it hard to rebuild a car for us "average" gear heads. I've offered the car for sale complete less engine and trannie for $750 locally and on a couple web sites with no interest so far. The car's in decent shape so I'd rather see it put back together and saved than dismantled. Since I've got extra engines and trannies it's just a matter of making the time to put it back in driver condition again. The problem I have is I've collected too many projects. I've got six 442's 65,67,68,69,70,77 and their all project cars, only one is a driver at this point. I've also got a factory 4 speed 1964 Cutlass and a 1971 Cutlass flat top wagon that I'd love to build, again they're both projects. If I just had more time and money............:D John

Wish I lived on the west coast, would love to have a '64 4spd. Wasn't trying to discourage anyone, but the grills I saw were nos, still alot of cash for a set of grills though. If things don't start to turn around for me, I might have to put mine up for sale :( :D .
