Has any one attempted to install any type of "triple gauge a pillar pods" from any other car. I am trying to figure out a wat to do it maybe by finding one of these that is close to the size of a 73-77 cutlass which are 2.5 inches wide.i would find one close in size , maybe trim it down--then put some sort of fabric over it all so one couldnt tell what was done. I am just wondering if any one has found a way before i go with it. If i am succesful i was thing of doing the passengerside as well-- what the hell

A few years ago I thought about getting one of those triple A pillar pods and installing fuel, oil and temp gauges in it and then retro fitting a big tach in the factory pod on the right. That idea went up in smoke, I guess I'll stick with my little column mounted tach for now. Here's a link to some options for A pillar mounting:

I used a Gbody 2 gauge A pillar pod. It fit fairly well, I still need to fill inthe gap at the top and paint it to match the trim....
