Ahhhh!!! More press on hood scoops!!! I'm starting a support group!! Say NO to press on hood scoops! :D:
I'm curious to know what was done to that tranny to get it to hold up to a 455.

He had the car listed on ebay and craigslist for $1500.00. I emailed as soon as it was posted. He never answered. The I saw someone hit the BIN on ebay. Now it is reposted again with a higher BIN and price on c/l. I'de like to know what trans it has. Last I knew you could'nt buy an aftermarket shifter for the factory b/w 5 speed in those cars. Here it is on the c/l.

Could it be a 260? Pics on CL sure look like it's a 455, or am I wrong? Maybe a newer Tremec 5-speed? If you get Hemmings Muscle Machines, there was a recent issue with a '68 H/O on the cover.. inside was an article on a blue Comet(?) with a Tremec 5-speed and similar looking shifter.

Its amazing how trashy a set of chevy rallies can make a cutlass look. If it has a tremec and is $1500 to $2000 for it it was a decent deal.

Dudes: I am totally shocked... the guy who bought this lives in my development (and had a nice red 77 a few years ago)! I'm checking over the car now for him, and this must be the nicest '76 I've seen in a while. I'm bringing my battery over in a bit to start 'er up. And did I mention I am TOTALLY JEALOUS!!! The seller on EBay had no idea what he was doing.
