Regional car with the argent wheels and chrome mirrors. Guy says it's a Pontiac Cutlass. Extremely rare. It would be a nice project, the interior looks pretty nice and the dash appears to have no cracks, practically unheard of in the 77.

I think that filler panel was originally covered by the vinyl roof. Also it's missing the targa band. The interior looks good. Since it's here in Ohio it's probably a VSO or a GMO. Low mileage too. Grimreaper isn't this car close to you?

Who's close to this car and would like to check it out? I would like to make an offer on this car, but I hate doing it blind. I think it would make a great project. It looks solid, but pictures can be altered

If someone looks at this car could you please give me a call or give me your number and I'll call you. Just private message me and I'll give you my number or get your number

Thanks
Denny

What I meant was that I looked right at it and didnt see the "Pontiac"part, then felt kind of stupid that someone else pointed out somthing so obviously out of place.

[QUOTE Is that filler panel in the quarter glass opening factory? [/QUOTE]
i have a 75 cutlass parts car(see album)that has the same type filler panel on the 1/4 window.
there is a full piece of glass behind the filler.
i just thought someone had wanted the small opera window instead of the larger window.
the interior has a padded filler also. looks factory:confused:
outside metal filler panel is welded in and bondo was used .
can't believe it would come new like this.

I don't believe the filler panels were installed at the factory, being they were "dealer specials", but I'm not positive. I do know they did a hell of a lot better job on them than the ones on my '76 project. They were very crudely pop riveted panels covering the whole glass w/a half ass slather of body putty to cover the seams.

Topic car does look like a nice start, the dash is worth the selling price if it's a nice as it looks in the pics. Hope it doesn't end up in a derby somewhere.
