The only thing I'd do is add a 2 1/4" dual exhaust system and lose the pinstripe [if it were mine].

Take a close look at the pictures of the dash gauge pods. That is the first one that I have seen where the outer edge of the bezels are not chromed. I have seen A/C vents that didn't have the chrome edge but that is the first time I have seen the gauge pod bezels with out chrome on the outer edge. The car sure looks like a 7000 mile original in the pictures. Nice car.

So I look at gmkarguys cardomain page and it's this car that was on Ebay. It sure does look nice in the pictures.

Heck, I'm using his pics so i can put the stripes back on my 74 Salon!
except for the side moldings, which i took off in '89, and the fender emblems,it looks the same as mine!.. well..almost..mine has 99000 on it..:)

Bill, is it supposed to have the pinstripe on the fender and door but not the quarter? I guess I'm just use to seeing the 76-77's. You sure have yourself one sweet ride Jay.

My 75 was med red (maroon) with a white stripe that was the same as the car pictured. I never repaced it after painting.

That's what I like about this site. Personal preferences. If it were mine, I'd add the stripe to the quarters:D That is one nice car!

Bill, Does your `74 Salon have pinstriping on the ft. fenders and doors like this `75? My `74 Supreme only has the pinstripe going across the roof in front of the landau top and then onto the rear quarters, ending at the sides of the taillight housings.

I think `73 -`75 Cutlasses had the gauge bezels with the black outer edge and `76-`77 had the chromed edge.
