AM-FM 8 track repair

Does anyone know(or have used) a reliable source for radio repair, as my Am-Fm 8-track has a short in it.

I found this site when I was looking for old radio codes. From the sound of it he might be backlogged but for a certified Delco tech from the '70s it could very well be worth it.
