You know, I just realised you can't very well say, Happy "Holidays" to this bunch! since our Oldsmobiles are technically not "Holidays".
Whichever holiday you celebrate, I hope it is meaningful and has purpose. God knows I'm sick of what retail has turned it into. My cousin who owns the bed and breakfast put the Christmas decorations up BEFORE HALLOWE'EN! Sez her, "the guests expect it". Phooey.
Then again as I grow older, I am even less materialistic than before. I have about anything I could possibly need or want, and a Christmas card or phone call from an old friend means way more than anything from a store.

Merry Christmas. In Canada it's Boxing Day (another excuse for a day off). Now I spend the day building up stress by trying to figure out how to transfer music from the computer to two ipod Touches and setting up the wireless router :rolleyes:

Thanks Eric. I should remember something. I was born and raised in the second largest French-speaking city on the planet.

Thank you very much Harv, the best for you in 2009 too,
Ken, i think you mean Montreal when you'r speaking about the second largest French-speaking city on the planet.
I visited Montreal and the province of Quebec and Ontario 15 years ago, a great "souvenir", hope i'll have the occasion to come back another time in North America, i'd really like to visit USA too.

You're correct. I was born and raised in Montreal. I miss the night life, the food and the underground city.
