Hello everyone, I am tring to track down as much information on available 73 Cutlass S sheet metal as I can. I will have my car in the shop this winter first to have the roll cage built and installed and the interior sheet metal fixed, then hopefully by next winter I can have the body work and paint done. I want to do the cage and sheet metal first so I can actually race this summer. I have been able to track down 73 floor pans the only thing I definatly need, as well I have found trunk pans at the same place. I would like to know if I can find any other parts if needed such as firewall, mini tubes, door, fenders and really anythign else thay might say I need now or later with body work.

Cheers,
Evan

Evan,

Good luck with the project! keep us updated with pics as well. Looks like ya found all there is for new aftermarket steel replacement panels, if ya decide to lighten it up further with some fiberglass panels, check out VFN (http://www.vfnfiberglass.com/site.htm). They make a few items like:

Thanks for the info, I have been in contact with VFN and there stuff is well priced. I will be looking into the bumper, doors and custom cowl hood from VFN and now the USBody fenders, those are nice. I figure the price some off that stuff is I might even save on from the price the body work would be. All that would be $2000 grand but I wouldn't think even bodywork alone would be more then that.

Cheers,
Evan

The VFN hood and front bumper are great! I've got both for the race car. One thing I'll mention is the front bumper is patterned off of a 1975. I have my doubts though on how well it would work on a 1974 and especially a 1973.

It won't work on a 73. I have a sweet drivers side 73 fender and the correct header panel if you feel like making a drive down to Detroit.

It's too bad you live so far away. I have a complete trunk floor from about a foot in front of the wheel wells all the way back. It even has the inner wells. I may be wrong, but I believe I still have a complete cowl/firewall from the same car.
