I was recently entering my options in the new registery page setup by zolav8, and I came across code "B93 moldings,Bright Door edge guard" on the build sheet. I asked my uncle (original owner) about these and he doesn't remember them ever being on the car. Would these be chrome guards along the rear edge of the door. If so would the aftermarket trim work or is there a special style?

Yea, they're actually stainless and are on the door edge, my '77 442 has them. You see the aftermarket plastic ones alot but I don't think they look as good as the originals.

Thanks for the info Todd, my uncle said the more he thought about it last night the more he remembered them. He thinks he may have them at the shop because they were taken off one of the first times the red paint was redone. If we can't find them, any idea where I could find some or are these as elusive as the other parts I'm looking for?

I was looking for a set for our '76 Supreme for a while, seen a few beat up ones and passed. There not as elusive as the quarter window trim, but they are getting harder to find.
