My new sport wheel!

Thanks to Harv, I was able to get the sport wheel for my 76. After hours of degreasing and cleaning with hot soapy water, the wheel came out much better than I expected! Then, I went to the local body shop supply store. They mixed me up some blue paint to match my interior. It used to be a red sport wheel, no, it's blue!

I want to do the same to my 76, but most of the Sport Wheels are Black, but my interior is buckskin. I see you painted the hub, but did you paint the center horn cap as well? How did that turn out?

Hey DW keep looking for the buckskin cap, its out there, I have the buckskin color interior too and I found a NOS buckskin cap for my sport wheel. Dont forget to check Buick, Century / Regal too when browsing through the ebay stuff, Because they use the same sport wheel and cap except they had the buick emblem in their cap. It can easily be swapped out for a rocket emblem. FYI

Yes, I painted the cap as well.
Dave, I've seen the Buick ones, but how do you remove the logos? I wanted to remove the one in mine for painting purposes. I ended up just taping it off.
