I have been trying for the last several weeks to get a pre-crimped fuel line from the pump to the carb for a '77 Cutlass 350, 4 barrel. After three attempts with Inline Tube in MI and still not correct, I have given up. Does anyone have one of these? I have attached a picture. The part on the left is the one I had to twist off to get to the filter. Hopefully though this will give all a reasonable idea of what I need. The other two are what I received from Inline.

That tight 90 is a pita, I know I've tried with no success, you must have to have a special bender. I'd send them your old line, I'm sure they'll be able to make it off of it. I ended up making a 2 piece one for my '76 Supreme, the flare nut at the pump froze, and the end at the carb was ok. It's been like that for years, I'm not happy about it, but it works. If you can get them to make the correct line, I'd buy one also.

Went to a rubber line and swivel fitting after mine twisted off.

How far off are they ? Sometimes you need to work them a little by hand. Screw in the carb side first since it is the most important. Then try flexing the line by hand to start it in the pump. Usually works for me. But then again I always make my own by hand.
Just thought of something. If you still have the A/C on it then you might want to start the pump side first.

that 90 degree bend just behind the thermostat housing is the trick. That's why I wanted to get a pre-crimped part. I had also considered splicing the old one with a rubber hose connection. I think Bill has one that will work. Thanks all.

I thought of that also. Unfortunately my old one runs up from the pump around the thermostat housing and back, then bends 90 degrees into the gas filter housing. I have two problems with the new ones. First, both are too short. Second, the bend is the wrong direction.

I think Fusick has them - $19.50.
