1974 Olds Cutlass Salon, 80K miles, garaged and pampered, perfect body with new Cameo white paint and prestine(sp) original red interior, $11,500. PH: 806-667-3880,TX
Looks good in the picture with SSIII wheels and white letter tires. Red (I assume, black and white pic) half vinyl top and no sport mirrors.
Seems a little high priced to me.

I saw the car on ebay a few weeks ago.I would give more for this car than its worth because its exactly the car my family had for years. Not the exact car ,but the colors and options are all the same. But its not worth close to that kind of cash,no matter how much SENTIMENTEL [SPELLING] value it has to me.

A car is worth what the buyer is willing to pay and what the seller will let it go for. Also as the classic 442's, Hurst''s etc., are getting out of reach for the average person, our cars will start to bring more money.

I am 36 now and when I was a snot nosed punk riding in the pass. or back seat of my brothers 74 salon,we were allways on the lookout for 73-75 cutlasses. There were a few around back in the day,but when you saw a 73-75 H/O OR 442 then we really saw somthing.I mean to me ,they were allmost unseen back then, and yes now even our beloved cars are finally coming into the spotlight.I had a friend buy a 75 Malibu from an old lady that was near mint.It was a nice copper on black two door. Its been about three years since he sold it and he couldn`t get near the money out of it as I would think it would bring for such a clean car.He just could`t find the right ass for the seat,or that someone who had a soft spot for the car.If it had been a 75 cutlass in the same shape ,I would have bought it in a heartbeat.Maybe one day I will have my white on red 74 salon again.Untill then,I will have to make due.Later,Jason
