I haven't messed with my 75 H/O for many years and I have forgotten somethings. My High blower didn't work so i checked the fuse under the hood, well it and the holder are melted along with the connector that's plugged in on the firewall. Does anyone have any idea why this stuff is melting?

Keith I'm not sure what the cause is but it's a common problem. I think it may be just the type of fuse holder that fails over time. It would seem if the blower motor was drawing too many amps it would just blow the fuse and not melt the holder? You could cut it out and solder and heat shrink a section of fusible link wire [of the correct amp] in it's place or put a new fuse holder back in. If it failed again, I think I would replace the blower motor.
