" I know, I know some of you said i'd run into trouble putting this tranny in
my 75 H/O and i am having some troubles.
It bolted up without a problem but the shifter bracket doesnt line up(not
surprising) what bracket do i need to get for this to work correctly with the
stock dual gate shifter.
Also how do i know if the TV cable is adjusted correctly..

That post is from 2000 and now in 2007 i'm still having problems.. Talk about backburner.

Now that, that trip down memory lane is over.
The problems I'm having now are:
1) I need some kind of something to put on the carb so the TV cable will hook to it. Right now i have a flat piece of metal with a hole in it and the TV cable is run through it.
2) I have the B&M TC adjustable lockup module but when it's locked up and i hit the gas it stays locked and it should release

Dealing with other vehicles I know it should unlock on a downshift or if i hit the brake pedal. I know the brake pedal part won't work since there's nothing connecting the module and pedal.

Keith, Did you ever get these problems worked out? I just got a nice working 200R and will put it in either the 76 442 or my 67 Cutlass Supreme, I'm not sure which yet, they both could do with another gear or 2 in the case of the 67, the improved fuel economy will be the bonus. I know the swap won't be hard but if it goes in the 442 I'll have the same dual gate shifter problem mentioned. I read somewhere Edelbrock now makes a carb linkage piece that hooks the TV cable in correctly on quadrajets or just get the piece from a eighties quadrajet equipped 200R vehicle. I know this is old but since I got the trans I thought I'd ask and bring this back from the dead.:)
