hi I have a 74 442 with a 455, Is the original color for this engine olds blue or GM corperate blue? thanks

You need the 455 olds blue. Its a blue metallic. I think the corporate blue started in 77s.

All 70-76 455`s were the metalic blue. None were corperate.

thanks, for some reason my dad thought that it was corperate. I was thinking it was olds blue but I just went along with him. I have a few parts painted in the corperate, but it should be an easy fix. I'll scotjust ch-brite them and hit them with olds blue real quick.

Aluminum intakes are their natural color. If your using your cast iron original one it should be blue also.

I built it. It's a regular air cleaner with an added snorkle. However, now that I have the ram air hood I've gone the ram air route. (The hoses in this picture are gone now). I'll update the picture sometime WHENEVER I GET THE CAR BACK FROM THE PAINT SHOP!
