Hi all,
Im from Michigan,Jackson, about 30 miles form Lansing Michigan where these cars were made! I have a 76 Cutlass S. I found my cutlass S setting in a garage with openings on each end, no doors. There was a tarp over the car and anything you can think of was stacked on and around the car!The owner parked it there and had not been runing in over 7 years! I paid 800 dollars for the car and took her home form Van Wert Ohio to Jackson Michigan. We pushed it on a tralier and pushed it into my garage. I cleaned it from top to bottom and inside and out. I changed plugs, oil, all hoses, vacum, belts feilters collant, wasnt any in it! Bought a new battery and used gumout on the carb, I fired the motor up and the 350 4 barrel started up on the first turn!! What a thrill, has some quater pannel issues at the bottom and bumper problems as well. I love the ralley rims and the bucket seats. I took her for her first ride today after getting most of the bugs out, have some bad noise on the pass door, rattles bad. Below are some before and after pictures, will post more later. Below are the pixs.

Welcome! It says a lot about an Olds engine sitting for that long, and firing up on the first turn. It looks like you've got a great car. My 442 looked about the same as yours when I picked it up. It was filthy. It's amazing what a little elbow grease can do.

Welcome to the board, I dig the groovy swivels with the "only from the seventies" upholstery! Hope you don't think of getting rid of it.

Can't say I've ever heard of them, no. I do plan on meeting a lot of Olds enthusiasts at the show, though, so maybe I'll see them there!
