I'm trying to see if there's any interest in a H4 Halogen headlight conversion kit.
I did DOT housing headlights in my H/O with XtremeVision bulbs and I like the results.
I can get other style housings but I think these look the closest to stock. These lights are a lot brighter and a whiter color then the stock lights.
I can also do H.I.D. kits in these housings also.

Here's a pic of my 75 H/O with the DOT housing and H4 XtremeVision bulbs.

For 73-75 cars I can probably do the H4 Halogen bulb conversion kit for about $70 shipped in the US. This includes 2 housings and 2 xtremevision halogen bulbs.
For 73-75 H.I.D. kit with housings around $280

76-77 cars $70 for the LowBeams only. $30 Extra if you want all 4.

Housing choices for 73-75 are:

Housing choices for 76-77 are:

Let me know if there's any interest and I'll get definite prices. The price will be lower depending on how many people are interested.

OK.. Nevermind the price. Is anyone interested in these? Is the price to high?
I'll see how many people are interested then I'll come up with a better price.

i'll have to give them some thought... $100 bucks for all four (for a 76/77) isn't bad... it's a matter of what those 'Euro Styles' will look like... what do you think Todd?

I'll dig out a picture of my 78 Cougar with them (if you squint, it looks like a 76-77 Cutlass).

Best I have from work

ahh... thanks, psquare75.... that doesn't look too bad. I'm not one to hide the fact that it's 2007 not 1977 either. Hmm...

Looks good. I replaced mine with halogen bulbs a while back. Don't think there quite as fancy as those though. My brother picked them up at a swap meet or something.

Oh, I see, those are all new housings w/a halogen capsule. Mine are just a halogen sealed beam.

how easy is it to swap out the whole housing? remember, i'm only moderately competent... and, on a unrelated note, i'll be out of town for a few days so i'll see you guys when i see you...

it's as easy as changing the headlight. Should be only 4 screws. I know on 73-74 it's 8 :( 4 for the trim and then 4 hold the bulb in.
