Ok car goes into paint finally and I need some quick help from Brad and 442Much.
I need some close up photos of your spoilers showing how their pin striped or accsented. This will help me pick my pattern.
Also does any body have a drivers side stone shield for front of rear wheel well. mine did not come off in one piece last night. :(
Or even a pair:(

I keep hearing about these stone shields...
What do they look like?
Are they just mudflaps or something?

i don't know how urgent you need a response so I'll post these for Brad (hopefully he doesn't mind...) Brad's stripe really ties in with the 442 body stripes... ken's on the other hand is more of pinstripe. Can't wait to get my own!!!!

Thanks for posting the pics Chris. How do you post pics like that? Anyway, Paul, the stone shields are a '76-'77 part. They mount in front of the rear tire well. To me, they are crappy and I did not reinstall them after I painted my car. They really aren't a big deal as long as you don't drive your car a whole bunch and stay off rock roads.
Paul, did you ever find that set of seat belt sleeves you mentioned?

I wouldn't worry about the stone shields either, unless you got your heart set on them. Good luck with the paint job. Brad, I like the way you striped your spoiler to mimick the 442 stripes, looks sweet.

Will that spoiler fit on 73-75 cars?

I agree with Brad. They are great crap collectors and help rust your lower panel. I didn't re-install mine. Just my $0.02

Dave, I don't know much about computers but if you open a Cardomain page you can post them from there. The code for the beige is {50 creme} if I remember correctly. No problem with the disassembly, the fun part is putting it back together. Can't wait to see it with the new finish, should look sweet!

there are 3 ways.
1) when you post make sure your in the advanced view and you can "manage attachements" which will allow you to attach a pic to your posts.
2) You can upload some to your VBGarage.
3) you can goto photobucket.com and create an account and let them host the pics for you. Then get the links to your pics and post the links here.

sorry for the late reply... i was busy digging my olds out of its winter hibernation... posting pics is easy, I use http://imageshack.us/ to 'host' the pics, it will give you a link, and then when you write your message here on the board you click that mountain icon above (second from the left) and paste the link there. when you preview or submit, your picture will appear. I will make an effort to post a more detailed 'how-to' one of these days. i'm sure others will find it useful.
ohhh... sorry, keith... i didn't get to page 2!!

Duh...I found the manage attachments under additional options, tried to upload pic, but it didn't work? I've tried to upload more pics on my v8garage with no luck also  . It may be my computer, or just the fact that I'm computer illiterate :( . Probably doesn't help I'm still on dial up also :o .

what happens when you try to upload? Are there any errors?
maybe a firewall or something is blocking your uploads?

Yea, it'll act like it's downloading and then a blank screen, it will say 'done' in the left bottom corner. I don't think it's this site because it will do it sometimes on my Cardomain page also. I think I need to do some updating and join the 21st Century :o .

Okay back to spoiler I see how Brad and 442much have done there spoiler 2 tone. I like Brads set-up and i see how it follows the 442 2 tone. I also like 442 much pin stripping. The paint seam's match with the rest of the cars.
I have the ram air hood and I am having the strips put on the hood.
I am trying to come up stripping pattern that will blend with hood, on spoiler?
any ideas?
Along with hood it will have pin strip running from bottom of front header up to about hood line. It then turns and runs towards door and stop under door handle.
It then starts again on the rear quater panel on the square part of quater panel buy door goes up and turns and runs to tail lights.
you can see it on car in VB garage click photo and look for white pin strip on side of car.

I'd either pin stripe it like Ken's or do like Brad did but have the smaller pinstripe come around to the bottom of the spoiler. Either way it should look great.
