Finally, the light at the end of the tunnel doesn't belong to a large train!!

This weekend is looking great and if all goes according to my most evil plan, I shall bring all toys home. They went away the end of October, and man do I have the itch to get them out. It sucks having to store them with someone else, but until I can afford to put up the mammoth garage I want, it's what must be done. I'll see if I can remember to bring the camera to get a few shots of the festivities, and maybe a few other rides that keep my girls company over the winter. I'll keep you all posted!!

Well, today the winter was nice. I got up and said perfect day to get the 73 out. I check fluids, all good so hit the road. Windows down enjoying life, running months of to do things. Get all finish take the long way home. For once i was not speeding (sorry to let ya'll down) doing the sunday drive bit. Come apond a deputy hiding. D*** it he's pulling out, he comes up fast. I know he's going to pull me over so i turn on turn signal, put on brakes to pull over, d*** he is not stopping. Brake brake find the d*** brake, i hear myself saying. Then you hear brakes, see him bounce back in the sit. Did he hit me, oh good thank god still two cars not one. Thats good, i hear myself say, it would be hard to cover up the body, cause surely he done run my plates. He gets out, cames up to window, i'm handing the paperwork out the window, as he's coming up. I still dont know what i did, but know he's going to be pissed now. Turns out he was just wanting to know what is it, what engine, how many owners etc. Almost lose my vavy because he was trying to read the cutlass tag on the trunk and not paying attend to brake lights. So, i get home think to myself, close call in the 73. I'll put it away and take out the 77 for a run. Get the old gal fired up, put her in drive. Two things wnet wrong, pedal stuck, brake line blew, fun very fun. SO need least to say, i'm staying home tonight, cause the THRID time the chram.

Yeah resurrection of a two year old thread!! Why?! Because I can! I started the thread, and well, it's pretty relevant right now, even two years later! I have made arrangements to bring the cars home this weekend!! WOOOHOOOOOOO!!!!! I've been in withdrawal, basically since I put them away, and finally I got everything in order to allow them to come home! Looks like Saturday is gonna be about 70 too!! SCHWEEEET! :D

Bert- its that time of year again. The flowers are popping up. The temperature is rising, the days are longer.. which means its Oldsmobile time baby..! THats right, the time honored tradition of those who brave the cold climates, hibernate our cars for almost 6 months a year just waiting to break them out of their cocoons for a glorious cruising season!
I havent driven mine since Easter and maybe I will get it out this weekend, but wifey is buying a new car Sat afternoon, sooo we will give her a few moments in the sun with her new Buick until the roar of dual exhaust thunders out of the garage and we go for a cruise Sunday!!!!

By the way.. its been a long while since you posted a few pics of your cars... be a good time to snap a few and share the love as you say

It's hard to believe I have had this car 18 years!! Doesn't look too bad for 145,000 miles, huh?

I tried getting pics of the other cars that were in there with my cars and none of them came out. Every single one was blurry...it was weird. Sorry, I tried. You probably would have been pretty pissed anyway. They were all really dirty. REALLY dirty!

Glad to see them out of storage and into the light of day.
The color green on the sedan is what my buddies and I used to call Evening Mint. ;) Its just so '70's and wouldnt change it at all. She's got character baby! They look happy to be out today!

Who drove which one home? LOL

You wanted pics, right?! Ask and you shall receive! I just try to share the love. :D

I actually drove both of them home, one at a time obviously. I couldn't get any help, everyone had something else going on. So, I had to make two trips. Since it was amazing out, I can't think of complaining.

Amen....... I cant wait to get 82 painted.... Want to drive it for once in the original color.... My car has a mis popped body tag, the tag says it should be a medium garnet red but it is really light redwood metallic..... It has had 5 owners but 3 were dealers, And I see no color changes anywhere! The 73 ran great and I kinda miss driving it here and there, but having a free truck to drive for work tears me away....
