Console Box

hey -- if any of you ever come across a console box, keep me in mind. I've been looking to replace mine since my father, of all people, RIPPED the flip-lid right off. Argh... that's what happens when you leave your car with your old man for a few years. Here's one on ebay now but I can't get on top...

What do you mean "I can't get on top"? It's hard to find one with a good hinge [ if that's what you want to call it]. I may have an extra, but it might have a split on one end.

i can't outbid the guy and i don't want to spend tooo much $. I could probably just fix it myself....

You could [epoxy?] a piano type hinge on there. Probably look ok and you wouldn't have to worry about it splitting again.

eh, i'll pass but i'm sure some of the others will jump at the chance... i'm content with my makeshift fix.... it worked out quite well....
